My wife has owned a harp for over 20 years, she took lessons for a short time and stoped while raising our daughter. she has wanted to take lessons again, and I wanted to give her lessons for her 61st birthday. You may remember me, as my sisterfriend begged and you obliged to demonstrate hair mastery. I opened the CD and have been in another space ever since. I first heard Destiny last Saturday, playing the harp at Macy's. I was so moved by her playing: But then, she began signing and I was totally blown away. She sang Emanuel in a manner I had never before heard: combination of a gorgeous, lirical operatic soprano combined with the most original, jazzlike ornamentation. Truly one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard, and I have heard Sutherland, Callas and all the great operatic sopranos. I can't wait to hear her again. You rock, Destiny...
